How to have an Aesthetic Experience: a collection of works by Chloe Weil, Ryan Redka, Corwin Ip, Danelle Wassink, Zachary Kurtz, Ricardo Roques, Danny Loveridge; curated by Chloe Weil

Mariana Martins: Nothing's Wrong (Photography / Installation)
Nothing's Wrong is a collection of the mind's almost theres.

Lucinda Lin: Que Veo (Painting)
About the abstracts: this is what I see in my head and out in front of me. I am influenced by the colors and geometry of the natural world. First, there is a blank surface- the painting is a result of getting the paint to express what I envision on this surface. I never feel that my paintings are finished. When I look at them I always see something that I would like to change. I suppose it depends on what I see in it at the time. I like to keep them spontaneous and moving.
About the self-portrait series: this series was started after the end of a relationship. I wanted to record my feelings of loss and renewal; commenting on this endless cycle and the will to never give up making connections. They are all valuable even when they appear to end painfully.
September 24th to October 10th

Jack Schursky: So Far (Mixed Media)
These are works I've done throughout High school and my first two years of college. Many of these pieces are what i like to call "self-portraits of a different perspective" They were done with many different medias including oil, watercolor and magazine collage.
